Welcome to the College Center
The Beverly Hills High School College Center provides a comprehensive college guidance program for all families enrolled at BHHS. Students and parents engage in college guidance activities starting in the 9th grade and begin working more closely with their guidance counselor and the College Counselor in the 11th grade to make well-informed plans for the students' post high school years.
Admission Considerations During COVID-19
“Context is the piece of information provided that a college will take into consideration when making decisions. So while you may not be able to take an SAT or ACT, or obtain an official transcript, or play in your sport this Spring, remember this word. Because colleges will not fault a student for something that is completely out of their control. They will instead, consider the context.” Click here to visit the full post.
All you need to tour a college without actually going anywhere
The Bigger Picture: Use these tools for a broader look at a college and begin a list of schools that catch your eye. Think about things like location, campus size, student body, etc. Don’t worry, we’ll dive in and fine tune later.
Youvisit: Go to this site to virtually tour hundreds of colleges. Not just an overview, but a virtual tour guide will talk and walk you through every aspect of campus. You can even jump to the departments/buildings that matter to you most! We won’t judge if you head straight to the dining hall. Create a free account or browse as a guest. If they don’t have the college you want…head over to YouTube.
