Coach Franks

Hello and welcome! My name is Coach Franks. I am a Beverly High alum class of '96. While a student/athlete at Beverly I had the opportunity to play three sports including baseball, soccer, and football. After graduating from Beverly I went on to play D1 NCAA soccer at Loyola Marymount University and Cal State Northridge. In 2002, I earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology from CSUN and a Master of Arts degree in Education from Pepperdine University in 2004.

In 2004 I began teaching Physical Education full time and coaching the girls soccer team at my alma mater. As the head of the girls soccer program we have experienced much success over the years including Ocean League Championships in 2011, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024. My goal as a coach is to inspire students to pursue a healthy and physically active lifestyle. But also for students to embody the spirit of teamwork, sportsmanship, and integrity.
