The purpose of College Day is to involve every BHHS student in grade appropriate activities that focus on college admission testing and college/career planning.
SENIORS:
All 12th graders will participate in workshops designed to help them with the college admissions and application processes. They will gather in the auditorium for a keynote presentation (parents are invited to attend the keynote presentation) then attend 2 breakout sessions which they will choose ahead of time.
JUNIORS & SOPHOMORES:
All 11th and 10th graders will take the PSAT exam.
FRESHMEN:
All 9th graders will take the ACT-SAT StartUp (courtesy of The Princeton Review), a new assessment which combines question types from the ACT and the redesigned SAT. By taking this assessment, the 9th graders will be exposed to both the ACT and the redesigned SAT in a single testing experience. Students will receive detailed score reports.
