has any coming 9th grader what you want to think about is what are the things that you're interested in if you can't exactly one of those things out being photography or Ceramics or something like that or animation specifically you would want to probably start with our Art Foundation class and then from that you would spring in weather classes and hopefully try to take a series of courses over the four years that you're here Heart Foundation was kind of the basic level course that leads into all the other courses that we have set volume stablish as all the basic skills that students are going to need that the language that we use to talk about as were describing the artwork found leads into drawing and painting take me to can take animation you can lead it into even Ceramics there is a Ceramics so if we need to turn on work that you can go into with the two new work that's part Foundation drawing and painting and then it goes into honors a PS2 that's what it's a progressive thing that goes from one class to the other in Foundation it's more about really learning to draw realistically drawing app Stillness is an emphasis with that but bringing in your style on top of that and then with Studio Art and AP you're really advancing and continuing to build your portfolio and so what we're trying to do is help kids discover what it is a really enjoy and whether it is going to be the 2D pathway where is going to be a 3D pathway the visual arts it's a great way of students video of the express it's it's a way of creating it gives students an opportunity to find their own unique kind of quality of their own voice iPad a number of students over the years who take an art course and just to be finished in just to fulfill that requirement and have ended up deciding to pursue further Beyond Art Foundation leave then play the drawing and painting and continued on and this has now become their career path and it's just amazing to see students that star who have that lightbulb turn on that little creativity that spark that suddenly ignites their new direction that they want to go with their life
