Perhaps you would like to know a little more about me.
I grew up in Arcadia, California. In high school I wrote for the school newspaper and played a couple sports, including swim team and football. In my senior year I received two awards for football, including First Team All-League Center and NCFF Scholar-Athlete Award.
I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in writing. I later travelled several times to China, where I have lived for a total of two and a half years. I also worked as a RidgeRunner on the Appalachian Trail for one year. I also regularly spend summers in Italy.
I enjoy long treks; my longest was a 40 day hike in the Himalayas. This summer I also walked 150 miles from Dublin to Clonegal. I also train and occasionally race triathlons. When I can, I enjoy freediving. Finally, I practice and teach yoga.
