Bonjour !
To introduce myself.... I've been a French teacher in Beverly Hills School District since 1990, but have been teaching since 1975.  I've been teaching at the high school since 1997.  Previous to this district, I began teaching in New York, taught gifted and talented in Colorado, and taught at Compton High School...therefore, I can say that I have had a variety of teaching experiences - none of which I regret and all of which have contributed positively to my career as well as personally.  I have been Chair of the BHHS World Language Dept. for 20 years.
I went to the Sorbonne in Paris but got my B.A. from S.U.N.Y. at Stony Brook, NY, my M.A. from Denver University (in Global Perspectives Curriculum/Instruction with a cognate in International Relations), and was in the EdD doctoral program in UCLA.  I also wrote Global Perspectives curriculum for the International Relations program at USC.
French was my first language (my mother was French) and I have spent a considerable amount of time in France.
Teaching, languages, and travel are my greatest passions.  I am married and have 2 "kids" (both adults now).

The best way to contact me is through school e-mail.
