Channels 6 & 36
KBEV, Channels 6 and 36 on Century Cable, are the cable TV channels assigned to the Beverly Hills School District for its exclusive use. Students have access to them through classes in the high school media department.
Students may take on responsibilities as writers, producers, directors, video editors, student engineers, camera operators, graphics designers, announcers or reporters, depending on their interest and skill level.
Access to the cable channels offers students an opportunity to cablecast their program ideas directly into Beverly Hills homes.
It's been over 3 decades so far, and our Norman News is one of the oldest continuous high school news programs in the nation.
