College Career Center
In addition to its regular counseling program, Beverly Hills High School students have access to a multi-media College Career Center. The Center is open daily and is staffed by a full-time career/college counselor. Students are guided to:
  • Perform computerized searches to locate colleges that match students' interests: majors, size, academic competition, campus life, and more.


  • Check out videos describing many colleges.


  • Research specific college catalogues.


  • Take career interest inventories.


  • Research occupations: duties, pay, educational requirements, etc.


  • Register for LACOROP Classes (Los Angeles County Office of Education Regional Occupational Program). In LACOROP Classes, students learn entry level job skills by hands-on approach, gaining a head start in finding part time jobs as a result of the skills learned and the contacts made.

  • In the past twenty years, these classes have helped develop veterinarians, interior designers, and presidents of corporations.
The Center is located at the High School in Room 292.
