FRESHMEN & NEW STUDENTS TO BHHS
Orientation Program "Norman Training Day!"
7:45 am - 12:00 pm, Friday, August 4th, HS Swim Gym
Step 1: 2017-2018 School Registration/Check-In Dates and Times
3rd Floor Student Cafeteria at BHHS
Check-in at the Student Cafeteria no later than 30 minutes before posted closing time in order to get your schedules and textbooks before closing.
Athletes with fall tryouts and Link Crew check-in at 8:00 am.
Freshmen - Class of 2021, Grade 9
Orientation Program - Friday, August 4th from 7:45 am - 12:00 pm (HS Swim Gym) & Registration from 1:30 - 3:00 pm (Link Crew Groups).
Seniors - Class of 2018, Grade 12
Monday, August 7th from 8:00 - 11:30 am (check-in no later than 11:00 am)
Juniors - Class of 2019, Grade 11
Tuesday, August 8th from 8:00 - 11:30 am (check-in no later than 11:00 am)
Sophomores - Class of 2020, Grade 10
Wednesday, August 9th from 8:00 - 11:30 am (check-in no later than 11:00 am)
Step 2: BHHS Norman Guide - Student and Parent Handbook
Required - both parent and student need to read the BHHS Norman Guide - Student and Parent Handbook, which includes important information on School and District Policies, Student Attendance, Discipline and Responsibilities. Please remember, you will need to indicate in the “Annual Returning Student Parent Portal” that “YES” you have reviewed the handbook with your student .
Step 3: See the link below, “District Forms”, (links to BHUSD website), update your Child’s Emergency Contacts and Annual Acknowledgements in the “Annual Returning Student Parent Portal”, print (no double sided copies), sign and return two BHUSD mandatory and any optional forms.
Bring these two District forms to your Registration Day:

Please remember any address changes made in the "Annual Returning Student Parent Portal" will have to be verified in person with proper documentation in House A with the Secretary, Andre Law or the Guidance Technician, Laurie Edelstein at Beverly Hills High School 2nd Floor, 9:00 - 11:00 am and 1:00 - 3:00 pm Monday through Friday.
You should have received a letter from the district containing your link & activation key to set-up a password for your student’s registration.
Unable to attend Registration/Check-In and would like to send someone else to do so in your place?
We allow a proxy to register/check-in your student in for you.
A proxy permission form for registration will be included online below when we come closer to Registration/Check-In. This form must be completed in full and appropriately signed. The proxy must also bring a current, valid form of identification with this form.
By using a proxy, your student assumes responsibility for any/all school books and/or materials damaged or otherwise lost.
Please have your proxy proceed to the Student Cafeteria (3rd floor of the main building) to begin the Registration/Check-In Process.
The proxy must bring all appropriate forms, completed and signed by the student and parent/guardian.
If any forms required are missing or incomplete, the proxy will be unable to complete the Registration/Check-in process.
