About Me

Eileen Katz is the Speech-Language Pathologist at Beverly Hills High School. She has been working for BHUSD since 2018. Throughout her career, she has worked in private practice, at nursery schools, and at non-public schools targeting special needs populations; she has worked with children and young adults ages 18 months through 26 years. Ms. Katz’s work has included the evaluation and treatment of people with language delay, apraxia of speech, speech sound disorders, fluency disorders, autism, learning disorders, Down syndrome, and language disorders. She has also served as a supervisor to new clinicians and regularly collaborates with families and other professionals (Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Educational Therapists) to best address her students' needs. Ms. Katz grew up in San Diego, went to college in Seattle at the University of Washington, and earned her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Boston University. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
