COLLEGE APPLICATION WORKSHOP: August 3-5, 2016 

Seniors! Head into Senior year feeling confident in your college applications. Work with your new College Counselor Ms. Rowley and receive guidance on your college applications. Please find the following schedule with detailed times and workshop descriptions. Students are welcome to attend any portion of the times and purely use this as a space to work on applications individually or follow the workshop schedule. Ms. Rowley looks forward to seeing you there!

Wednesday, August 3, 2016, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. --- Common Application Guidance
Receive guidance and feedback as we work through the sections of the Common Application. Review extracurricular activities, inputting coursework and grades and essay components.

11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. --- UC Application Guidance
Receive guidance and feedback on the UC Application. Review new UC personal insight questions and individualized guidance.

Thursday, August 4, 2016, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Essays. Get individual feedback on the Common App, UC and supplemental essays. From outlining and organization to finalizing essay drafts. Continue working on college applications throughout the day.

Friday, August 5, 2016, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. --- Application organization. Organize your college list, review application due dates and deadlines. Review any supporting documents needed (letters of recommendations, school reports, etc.)

11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. --- Continue to work on applications. Individual application reviews, Q&A.
